Calm, composed, and not vindictive at all – The Hill responds well to the greatest political rickrolling in our lifetime.

For a quick background, presidential candidate Donald Trump resurfaced his birtherism controversy last week. Trump stated had a “big announcement” for Friday about President issue for the whole week.

Breathlessly awaiting a great political misstep, all major news outlets live streamed 30 minutes of military officials and veterans as they voiced their support for Donald Trump. Frustrated by their inopportune coverage of a Trump “gaffe,”they began shutting down  coverage as reporters fled. Finally, Donald Trump took the stage for 30 seconds, briefly stating:

“President Barack Obama was born in the United States. Period. Now we all want to get back to making America strong and great again.”

However, The Hill digs into the background of the story with unparalleled skill.

Their headline?
