Salon Nazis: The Trivialization of Hitler

Once again we are back on the subject of Hitler, the Führer of all overused and lazy metaphors.

Salon has boldly rallied against the invocation of Nazis and Hitlerism for political mudslinging in previous posts. Citing Fox News for spewing Nazi related terms, Salon states that the use of these phrases “trivialize[s] Nazisim and the Holocaust and exploit[s] that imagery for cheap political gain.”

It would seem however that they have significantly changed their views on such historical metaphors….
