Google bans guns. See how people respond

Twitter exploded with laughs on Tuesday morning when a short-sighted attempt at censorship failed terribly.

Liberals at Google wanted to filter the word “gun”, but forgot to make exceptions for everyday items like glue guns or water guns, toy guns, airsoft guns, nail guns, or nerf guns.

Users received error notices when they searched for ANYTHING with “gun”. The algorithm even triggered a warning for the color “burGUNdy” and searches for laGUNa beach.

I guess that’s just more proof that gun bans never go as planned.
