Whoever invited Former President Obama to eulogize Congressman John Lewis had to have seen this coming.

At the celebration of life for the late Congressman, Barack got into the weeds on politics, using his platform to call for an end to the Senate filibuster, encouraged liberal voter reform, and even demanded DC statehood.

While it seemed inappropriate considering the event, the crowd seemed pleased.

They cheered as he trashed Republicans as those who favor Jim Crow-era regulations, and they squealed when he compared President Trump to a segregationist.

But more than the crowd loved it, the media loved it. They adored it!
