News BREAKING: CDC Releases New COVID-19 Quarantine Guidelines Published 3 years ago on December 28, 2021 By Corinne Clark This week, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that the recommended time for quarantine for vaccinated individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 has been shortened from 10 days to 5 days for those without symptoms.Those who have been exposed but have not tested positive may not even need to quarantine at all, they say. In a statement, the CDC said “given what we currently know about COVID-19 and the Omicron variant, CDC is shortening the recommended time for isolation from 10 days for people with COVID-19 to five days, if asymptomatic, followed by five days of wearing a mask when around others.” Related Topics:
