BREAKING: House Republicans Fight Back Against Corrupt NY Prosecutor

The radical-leftist Manhattan DA is at it again, trying to arrest former President Donald Trump on dubious charges. But House Republican leadership is not having it and they sent a warning shot letter to this power-hungry prosecutor, claiming it would be an “unprecedented abuse of prosecutorial authority.”

The heads of three separate House committees, chaired by Reps. Jim Jordan, James Comer, and Bryan Steil, demanded communications, documents, and a transcribed interview from Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan District Attorney. And rightfully so! We need to know if this prosecutor is colluding with the Biden DOJ to go after Trump. We demand all documents and communications between or among the New York County District Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Department of Justice, its component entities, or other federal law enforcement agencies referring or relating to this bogus investigation.

The GOP chairmen’s letter states: “If these reports are accurate, your actions will erode confidence in the evenhanded application of justice and unalterably interfere in the course of the 2024 presidential election. In light of the serious consequences of your actions, we expect that you will testify about what plainly appears to be a politically motivated prosecutorial decision.”

But let’s be real, Bragg probably won’t comply with the House chairmen’s request. If he refuses, the House Republicans could issue a subpoena to compel him. But that would have to be enforced by the Department of Justice… which is overseen by Joe Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland. Good luck with that! We all know the Democrats are desperate to take down Trump, even if it means using dirty tactics like this.

It’s time for the American people to stand up against this blatant abuse of power. We can’t let the Democrats get away with using the justice system as a political weapon. The House Republicans are on the right side of this issue and we support them 100%. Let’s hold these corrupt prosecutors accountable and protect our democracy from their dangerous actions.
