BREAKING: The IRS Is Targeting Journalists…Again

Obama did it! Now, Joe is doing it too!

The administration, in all its wisdom, sent IRS agents to the home of journalist Matt Taibbi on the very same day he was testifying before the Republican-led House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.

What a coincidence, right?

If you don’t remember, Taibbi is the author of the famous Twitter Files reports, which exposed the unholy alliance between the federal government and big tech to censor American citizens, suppress the Hunter Biden laptop, and silence the then-sitting President Donald Trump. He’s been a thorn in the side of the liberal establishment for quite some time now.

So, on March 9, the day Taibbi was set to testify before Congress, IRS agents decided to pay him a little visit to his New Jersey home.

Of course, they didn’t bother to inform him beforehand, because why would they? Taibbi wasn’t even home at the time, but the agents still had the gall to leave a note instructing him to call them. Turns out, they were rejecting his 2018 and 2021 taxes.

How convenient!

Now, if the IRS wanted to audit Taibbi’s tax returns, you’d think they’d schedule a meeting at their office, right?

But nope, they had to drop by unannounced and leave a note like some sort of sleazy collection agency.

Because of course, this had nothing to do with taxes and EVERYTHING to do with intimidation.

This clear attack on freedom of speech makes Taibbi’s testimony even more important.

There’s no doubt the federal government has been weaponized against us.

The question is… what do we do about it?
