What Should You Get Them For Christmas? The Conservative Critic Gift Guide
Christmas time is here! It is a time to celebrate the birth of our Christ, Jesus but also to celebrate the power and resilience of American liberty fueled by capitalism and commerce.
Gifting can be difficult in a world where anything we could possibly want is within 2-day shipping reach. But my love language is gifts (IT’S A VALID LOVE LANGUAGE) and I’m here to help. Here is a Conservative Critic approved gift guide for all your Christmas needs.
It’s like Oprah’s list only no one pays me to put anything on here and I have never sponsored the abuse of little girls just trying to go to school. The below items are linked for inspiration not necessarily as an endorsement (I don’t own all these items).
For your funny friend: Tim Young’s “No.” hat
Tim Young is a conservative political commentator and funny man whose signature acerbic wit is sure to capture the hearts of any of your smartalec loved ones. He and his fiance, Alex Spencer, host a regular video podcast (video-cast? Is it just a podcast?) on Rumble. You can get the hat and other Tim Young merchandise here.
For truly anyone: Leather goods
Leather is always in fashion. It’s a timeless material that can work for both men and women. From bags to work aprons to gloves, there are loads of products of all prices on the market to serve your gifting needs. The trend this year is creamy browns and soft neutrals. Leather makes a great gift for bosses, friends, family members and even close loved ones.
Leather goods I’ve seen around a lot and loved include: classic leather gloves, leather totes, workshop/grill aprons, custom keychains, passport holders and wallets.
Try something like these bags for a woman in your life.
Try something like these great gloves for the man in your life.
For your MAGA brother or sister: Old Row’s President Trump Mug Shot Tee
Both Corinne Clark Barron and I have this shirt and absolutely love it. Any Trump supporter in your life needs one. Old Row is a conservative brand that focuses on politics, the outdoors, sports, and pop culture.
You can find the shirt and all the other cool Old Row merch here.
For someone you’re not that close with but you need to impress (like a client or boss): Nice Olive Oil
Gifting gourmet olive oil is elite and works for both genders (if either gooks or entertains much). It’s unique, it’s the right price point for an expensive but not lavish gift, and it’s great for homes where wine or alcohol may not be appropriate. This is my go-to gift when I want to seem a lot classier than I really am.
William Sonoma is a recognizable brand with a great price on an infused set.
Brightland is the pricier option but definitely considered the height of luxe olive oils. Check them out here.
For the book club gang: Pre-order Kyle Rittenhouse’s book, Acquitted
Kyle Rittenhouse defended the town of Kenosha, Wisconsin during a brutal attack by BLM protestors in August of 2020. Heavily photographed by the media, Rittenhouse was made to be a violent and bloodthirsty vigilante. Having shot and killed two convicted criminals in his own defense, Kyle faced trial for murder. The evidence that played out in the courtroom told a truth that you may not believe if he didn’t have so much proof. This book detailing that court proceeding and the shameful (and likely libelous) media behavior as the leftist radicals attempted to destroy this young man’s life.
The book ships December 15 in time for Christmas! You can get it here either in paperback or a signed copy.
For your sibling and their family: Daily Wire+ subscription
The gang at Daily Wire has been creating content over the past couple of years in an attempt to combat mainstream media’s not-so-secret progressive agenda which has permeated and all but ruined entertainment media particularly for children. They have two movies coming out exclusively to Daily Wire+ including Snow White and the Evil Queen and Lady Ballers. The subscription also comes with all the Daily Wire political shows and their already robust children’s programming (that you can actually trust) called Bentkey.
You can gift a year of the service here.
For your single career woman cousin who treats herself all year round: Stoneware mugs
An earthy looking vessel for her seven cups of coffee or her trendy herbal tea is just the thing to make her ‘cool aunt’ heart feel special while she showers everyone else with gifts.
Supporting an independent maker is the ~chicest~ thing to do but can be pricier. Check out these on Etsy.
Stores like William Sonoma and West Elm also have great stoneware options:
William Sonoma has a simple and classic selection which are pricier than other brands but more affordable than hand crafted by makers.
West Elm has some great options here.
And actually, Target has very affordable options that are really nice looking. Look at those here.
For your teen: a cool water bottle
Kids these days. Only interested in video games and….hydration? Yes the youths of today love a water bottle as an accessory. Think about getting a sturdy one and throwing in some stickers while you’re at it.
Wondry released a really cool National Parks water bottle that has spaces for stickers for each visited park. This gift promotes both hydration and getting outside and exploring the great United States of America. Check it out here.
A classic choice is Hydro Flask. Get one here.
You can get sticker packs specially designed for water bottles from Amazon and other retailers. Here are some from an Etsy vendor.
For your younger children: Bethany Hamilton’s Surfing Past Fear or another Brave Book
Bethany Hamilton is a professional surfer and Christian icon who lost her arm in a shark attack when she was just 13 years old. From that loss, Bethany rose up in faith showing the world that adversity does not make you a victim. She has recently shown her bravery again by coming out against international surf organizations who are allowing biologically male competitors to compete in female categories.
Her children’s book is about overcoming fear with the help of faith, friends and passion. You can get a copy here.
Bethany’s book is a partnership with Brave Books and has a suite of children’s books which they promote as Pro-God and Pro-America. There are recent titles penned by prominent Christian inspirational speaker and influencer, Kirk Cameron. You can find more Brave Books titles for your kids under the tree this season here.
For literally everyone on your Christmas list: a Free Press Fail ‘America First’ tee
Free Press Fail spends the year calling out the mainstream media in all its forms. Our founder, Corinne Clark Barron, designs our merchandise herself (I help sometimes) and it’s all designed to celebrate American values without losing a sense of humor. We should all be wearing ‘America First’ proudly across our chests.
You can get the shirt and all other Free Press Fail Merchandise here.

Ho Ho Ho! Enjoy your Christmas shopping!
