What Are You Wearing To The Constitutional Crisis?

Published

on

With everything going on from the political persecution of President Donald Trump and the absolute terror on the left that he will win again to the border fight in Texas, people are throwing around the term “constitutional crisis” quite a bit.

Regardless of whether or not a “constitutional crisis” is a serious likelihood in our near future, it’s funny to make fun of the drama of it all and really it’s how we fight the tyrants.

In that spirit, a trend has been born where X users are sharing in jest what they plan to wear to the constitutional crisis. The meme has undergone so much irony and twist and turns it’s impossible for me to tell who was being mocked at its beginning and who is being mocked now (which is really the best kind of joke). It seems as though leftists began it to mock the idea of a constitutional crisis (which is funny, you have to hand it to them) but then being the kings of meming, MAGA conservatives took it back over and twisted it to mock the mocking of a constitutional crisis. I think.

Whatever the point of it (or perhaps not one at all): here are some of the best entries:

Gavin Wax is going as Pinochet

Vish Barra is going more with a more classic look with Napoleon

Goad Gatsby going as Matt Walsh from Lady Ballers

Poso decided to go avant garde with Józef Piłsudski (who I had to Google and I’m not ashamed)

Saving America knows the uniform that will keep you out of trouble

Alec Lace is looking to infiltrate the other side

A lot of women like Lynn Myers will be taking down their curtains

Like I said…

Some more than others know how to get the funding they’ll need

Grover Rover is a realist and he’s prepared for what he faces

Personally, I’d pay homage to the true GOAT of American patriotism. I shall take no tea, thanks.

What would you wear to the constitutional crisis?
