BREAKING: Kamala Harris Doesn’t Appear To Be One Of Time’s Inspirational Women?

An image depicting a ‘Special Edition’ Time Magazine cover of ‘Inspirational Women’ is circulating social media with wide praise from fans of Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and Caitlin Clark all of who appear on the supposed cover. Missing? The first female Vice President herself currently seeking the Presidency, Kamala Harris.

This image seems likely to have been fan created (fake) and hasn’t been confirmed as an official image from Time. But even if a random woman on the internet generated this viral image, the fact that whoever she may be forgot to include Kamala Harris but didn’t forget to include Megan Rapinoe who hasn’t been an active athlete since 2023 is pretty LOL for Kamala.

The fact that when someone says “inspirational woman” no one thinks immediately “Kamala Harris” is pretty telling of how she’s been doing as Vice President and as a candidate.

While this image may or may not be real, Time really does award ‘women of the year’ annually. In February 2024, before the coup which booted Joe Biden, Time awarded twelve women, none were Kamala Harris. In 2020 when Harris became the first ever female Vice President of the United States, she was so uninspiring that she had to share person of the year with sleepy Joe Biden.

Harris still has a chance at Time’s 2024 person of the year, but with viral fan edits like this and the editorial decisions already made by Time, it’s clear how genuine that would really be.
