Wah Wah: CNN Reporter Complains Trump Is Making Journalism Hard Again

Oh no, CNN’s Kaitlan Collins is sad. You see, after four years of coasting through the Biden era—where the hardest part of her job was figuring out which beach Biden was shuffling around on—she’s now forced to actually work on the weekends. Why? Because Donald Trump is leading, and that means real political coverage instead of the snooze-fest of the Biden White House.

Collins recently whined that reporters now have to be on their toes—because Trump actually works (imagine that!) and makes news that people care about. The horror! What a burden it must have been to go from covering Biden’s afternoon naps to following a candidate who’s, you know, actually engaging with voters.

Biden spent nearly 40% of his presidency on vacation, but somehow, Collins and her media buddies never seemed to complain about that. Nope, they were perfectly content to sip their lattes and churn out pre-written fluff about “democracy” while Biden mumbled his way through the presidency. But now that Trump is out there drawing massive crowds, setting the news cycle on fire, and—gasp—winning? Suddenly, the job is hard again.

You’d think the press would be thrilled to cover a real election, where voters are energized and the stakes are high. Instead, they’re pouting because their golden age of laziness is over. Well, guess what, Kaitlan? America is awake again. Suck it up.
