On Monday, White House Border Czar Tom Homan dropped a truth bomb that should have every open-border apologist shaking in their boots: the number of daily encounters with illegal aliens at the southern border has plummeted by nearly 98% under President Trump compared to Biden’s disastrous totals. That’s right — Trump isn’t just talking about border security. He’s actually delivering it.

Homan shared the stats in an X post on Presidents’ Day, revealing that Border Patrol encountered just 229 illegal aliens across the entire southwest border in 24 hours. Compare that to the absolute trainwreck under Biden, where the number soared to over 11,000 a day at its peak. That’s a decrease of 97.9% — a real-life mic drop moment for the America First agenda.

Media heads are spinning over this and let’s just be honests, ours probably are too. It’s so overwhemingly refreshing to finally have a president who’s taking action rather than making excuses.

Biden and the Democrats spent four years telling us that border security was impossible — that illegal immigration was just something we had to accept as part of modern life. They said that Trump’s tough-on-illegal-immigration stance was “cruel,” “impractical,” and, of course, “racist.” Turns out, all it took was real leadership and the will to enforce the law. Imagine that.

President Trump hit the ground running, signing a flurry of executive orders to undo Biden’s chaos. He declared a state of emergency at the border, reinstated the “Remain in Mexico” policy, and ended the disastrous “catch and release” program that let illegal immigrants flood into our communities without consequences. Let’s talk deportations. According to Homan, interior arrests by ICE have skyrocketed by more than 137% since Trump returned to office. Criminal aliens, gang members, and cartel operatives who flourished under Biden are finally being rounded up and sent packing. The arrests of criminal aliens? Doubled.
