Who Was That Dog at the RNC Convention? Meet BABYDOG

If you’ve been watching the convention or reviewing viral clips, it’s likely you’ve seen this one of West Virginia Governor Jim Justice delivering remarks and the camera going to a wide angle revealing he has a chonky Bulldog on stage with him the entire time.

So who exactly is this charming doggo? Meet Babydog, West Virginia’s fearless mascot. Babydog belongs to Governor Jim Justice and makes regular appearances with the Governor bringing her constituents joy, peace and true patriotic inspiration. Babydog is a four year old, 60 pound English Bulldog. She has been with Justice every step of the way as he runs for U.S. Senate to replace Sen. Manchin who is not seeking re-election.
