Monday Night Raw: who is right about milk?
There was no hotter debate this weekend than that of whether or not raw milk is good for you or disgusting. Tempers were soaring. Chairs were flying. Grudges will be held for years to come.
In one corner you had raw milk advocates like Case Bradford (who initiated the discussion with a post about access to raw milk in communities) and Alex Clark who believe raw milk is the only truth and justice and all other milk is a jabroni!
In the other corner you had pasteurized milk champions like Matt Walsh and Elon Musk (kind of) who know that when someone asks if your milk should be sanitized you say: Yes! Yes! Yes!
The fight was brutal. Just when the raw milk stable thought they could clinch the victory, IT WAS COMMUNITY NOTES OUT OF NOWHERE!
The community note on the original Case Bradford post supporting raw milk states: Raw milk consumption is linked to a number of foodborne illnesses that can result in serious complications and death. Drinking or eating products made from raw milk can expose people to germs such as Campylobacter, Cryptosporidium, E. coli, Listeria, Brucella, and Salmonella. https://www.cdc.gov/food-safety/foods/raw-milk.html
The fans took sides avidly. The Raw Milk universe even had Congressmen weighing-in.
But the OBJECTIVELY strongest universe were those that were simply anti-milk all together. Haven’t y’all heard of oatmilk?
LONG MAY THIS GREAT RIVALRY REIGN!
