Even McCain Sees the Media Bias Against Trump

Earlier last year Donald Trump had some controversial words to say about Senator and former Republican candidate for president, John McCain. This did not stop McCain from being less biased than the media though when it came to Trump’s recent comments about veterans and PTSD. The quote in question from Trump is, “”When you talk about the mental health problems, when people come back from war and combat, and they see things that maybe a lot of the folks in this room have seen many times over – and you’re strong and you can handle it – but a lot of people can’t handle it.”

McCain came to the current Republican nominee’s defense, agreeing with him on this issue, saying, “What he is saying is that some people, for whatever reason, and we really don’t understand why, suffer from PTSD, and others don’t.” He further commented that this was the “classic example of media feeding frenzy that is going on.”

As somebody who also has ran for president, McCain seems able to empathize with Trump on the constant media spin and bias.
