WHAT?! Psaki Defends Biden On Leaving Americans In Afghanistan

When President Biden botched the Afghanistan withdrawal, he left billions of dollars of military equipment to the Taliban, he allowed hundreds of allies and informants to be murdered, and he completely abandoned almost 500 Americans who had no way to get home.

In a statement released on Monday, the State Department was forced to admit that even now, 4 months later, there are still Americans who have been unable to get home.

Though they claim now that the number remaining is “fewer than a dozen,” the statement admitted that over 490 Americans were previously left behind in Afghanistan — despite claims from the White House that the number was closer to 100-200.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki is still not taking the blame for the absolute disaster. This week, she defended the Biden administration’s record on the withdrawal, saying that the administration “delivered on their word on” to get Americans out of the country.

Peter Doocy of Fox News put pressure on Psaki and asked why the administration did not have accurate numbers of Americans left behind. She responded that “The United States does not track or put a tracker on American citizens traveling overseas.”

Adding “that would be quite a Fox News story, wouldn’t it be, if we did that? We don’t do that.”

She couldn’t really explain how the State Department was able to “track” Americans left behind while her administration was not.
