BREAKING: Justice Clarence Thomas hospitalized

Justice Clarence Thomas was taken to the hospital on Friday March 18 while experiencing flu-like symptoms. A spokesperson for Thomas said his symptoms were easing up and he should be in the hospital for another couple of days. 

The Supreme Court has scheduled hearings this week which Thomas will not be able to participate in due to his illness. However, Chief Justice Roberts indicated that he will be able to ultimately weigh in on the consideration of the cases relying on briefs and accounts of the oral arguments. This type of consideration due to illness is common in the Supreme Court. 

We should all be praying for the speedy recovery of Justice Thomas who is perhaps the last bastion of true conservative judgment on the court and the longest serving of any sitting member.
