The Guardian Suggests Genocide is Happening in Puerto Rico

The Guardian, a British daily newspaper known for pushing stories without fact-checking, have released a headline suggesting that genocide is being committed in Puerto Rico:

“‘Close to genocide’: San Juan mayor’s dire appeal to US for Puerto Rico relief”

The editors at Free Press Fail did their due diligence to find evidence of genocide in Puerto Rico, first starting with the definition of genocide:

Since a hurricane is a natural disaster, we have deduced that this is not a deliberate act and therefore not a genocide. Additionally, we have analyzed if this is systemic destruction of a “racial, political, or cultural group.” Since this is a natural disaster (i.e. a hurricane) we have also reasoned that this does not fit the definition of a genocide.
