Exciting news for all those who are eagerly waiting to know the truth about the January 6th “riot” at the Capitol!

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has reportedly given Fox News host Tucker Carlson access to thousands of hours of Capitol security footage from that day. 

With more than 41,000 hours of video available, Tucker and his team have started combing through it to get an accurate assessment of the events that occurred.

On Monday night, Tucker said on his show, “We’re going to spend the rest of this week taking a look at it, assessing it as honestly as we can, and we’re going to bring you what we find next week.” 

Of course, we know exactly how dedicated Tucker can be  and we can’t wait to see the results of his research.

This deep dive truly matters because many conservatives and free thinkers know the mainstream media narrative about how the events unfolded on January 6th is complete nonsense.

Some – rightfully – believe that the riot was instigated by undercover federal agents embedded in the crowd, while others – also rightfully – believe the media has drastically overblown the severity of the “insurrection.” 

With so much dramatization and politicization of the event, a cold hard look at the facts has been neglected by anyone with a major audience on cable news. 

In fact, most anchors are working overtime to hide the truth even when they know most Americans are not with them!

According to a poll from Umass Amherst conducted earlier this year, Americans have softened on how they see the events of January 6. 49% call it a ‘protest’ – up from 43% back in April 2021, while 41% call it an ‘insurrection’ – down from 49% in April 2021. These numbers show that there is a growing demand for transparency and a willingness to hear all sides of the story.

Speaker McCarthy has been advocating for the release of the footage since January 2023, and it’s great to see that he is following through on his promise. As he told reporters earlier this year, “I think the American public should see all what happened instead of a report that’s written for a political basis.” 

It’s refreshing to see a Republican following through.  

That alone is a major win for the American people who gave Republicans the majority control of the House in the 2022 midterm elections.
