IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Megyn Kelly Absolutely Destroyed Keith Olbermann And It Was AMAZING

Last week Keith Olbermann, the far-left pundit with a long history of job hopping, decided to take a cheap shot at Megyn Kelly’s career. But as usual, Olbermann’s attack backfired spectacularly.

I initially missed this exchange but WOW it is too good not to cover… even if we’re late.

Olbermann went after Kelly because she suggested that Tucker Carlson’s firing from Fox News was a good thing, and criticized “The View” ladies for being jealous of Carlson’s ratings. Olbermann tweeted, “What would you know about successfully hosting a show? Fired by Fox, fired by NBC. You’re 0-for-2 and you couldn’t get a job cleaning the studio at The View.”

But if Kelly is “0-for-2,” she’s still leagues ahead of Olbermann, who has been fired and/or suspended from Fox Sports, Current TV, ESPN (multiple times), and MSNBC/NBC. The man has burned so many bridges that he doesn’t even have a media home to call his own.

Kelly was quick to respond to Olbermann’s attack, setting the record straight about her departures from NBC News and Fox News. “First of all, you misstate the circumstances of my departure from NBC, sir. That’s all I’m allowed to say about it,” she said. “And as for Fox, there were widely reported facts that I was offered $100 million to stay there.”

But Kelly didn’t stop there. She took the fight straight to Olbermann, calling him out for his miserable personal life. “But the record is very clear that I left voluntarily because I wanted to raise my family,” Kelly said. “Something you don’t know anything about because no one would marry you. And you have no children. You have a cold, lonely life in which you’ve become a bitter, bitter man.”

Ouch. Kelly definitely won the battle, and it’s never been more clear that Olbermann is the real loser. With a life as sad and lonely as his, it’s no wonder he’s so bitter. Maybe someday he’ll learn to keep his mouth shut and avoid embarrassing himself in public.

But somehow, we doubt it.
